Pours pitch black with a dark tan head , Aroma is of big roasted coffee , cocoa ,with brown sugar or molasses and a bit of booze. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy , the taste is of big roasted coffee with that burnt ash quality like your smoking a cigar , also dark chocolate , toffee , vanilla and some booze round things out. There is a bit of a sweetness that I've come to appreciate with this style , it balances out the bold roastiness and the high alcohol of this beer. This brew has the flavor profile you would expect from a Russian Imperial Stout with big bold and rich flavors. A perfect winter sipper for the those cold northeast nights.
