Pours a deep copper color, darker than a lot of pumpkin ales with a small head. Aroma is quite faint , a bit of cinnamon and maybe a bit of pumpkin, this is not one of favorites pumpkin ales you get a tiny bit of pumpkin a tiny bit of spice but there seems to be a sour slightly metallic taste that is not pleasant. On a positive note, the label has got a wicked cool screaming pumpkin on it that actually drew me to this beer and I also found out what a "Wilhelm Scream" was by doing a search. Apparently a Wilhelm Scream is a stock sound effect that has been used in more than 200 movies beginning 1951, it is commonly used when someone is shot or falls from a great height. So I at least came away from this experience with that little chestnut.
Rating of 6.5 out of 10 in the pumpkin ale category.
