Appearance is dark brown with no color shinig through mouthfeel is just where you want a porter to be. The nose is of cofee and a bit of molasses but nothing jumps out to much. As the name would suggest this beer has cofee in it and you can definitely taste it. Unfortunately with that cofee you get a massive dose of bitter that kind of dominates and right behind that is a bit of alcohol. Look on the bright side this porter is 10% ABV so after one you may not care about the taste as much.
Pours dark brown with no light shining through and has a decent size head that retains ok. Aroma is subtle some chocolate and malt. Taste is of peanut butter and chocolate with the peanut butter being a bit more dominant and not as sweet as you would imagine. All in all this is a good beer and if you like peanut butter and chocolate flavor than you will really enjoy this one. Rating of 7.1 out of 10
Aroma is coffee and chocolate, medium body and head that dissipates pretty quickly. The mouthfeel is pretty rich. The taste has a huge roasted quality up front and a nice coffee and vanilla profile but not over the top. There is an earthy/leathery taste and the level of sweetness is right on. If you told me this was a stout I wouldn't question it. I really enjoyed this beer, there are a lot of nice flavors going on here. This is one unique and bold beer. I am looking forward to next years batch. Rating of 8.5 out of 10
