Pours a golden amber with a head that dissapates pretty quickly but leaves nice lacing. The nose is nice and consists of big troicals, pine and a bit of grass. The Taste doesn't exactly follow the nose. You get some tropicals and pine but it's not as strong as the nose would indicate, though it's still nice. There's a big back of the tongue bitter on this one but this is a crisp and clean beer. Not sticky

Poured from a bottle the color is a deep golden with a big head that retains well and good lacing. Aroma is citrusy like grapefruit, rindy, slightly fruity. As for the taste you might imagine that a beer coming in at 11.25% ABV is going to club you over the head with a malty sweetness but that's not the case here. There is some malty sweetness but in no way excessive. Other flavors include rindy citrus, some pine and good dose of bitter but it doesnt taste like 131 IBU's bitter and in our opinion thats a good thing. This is the first beer we had from Knee Deep Brewing and definitely won't be the last, we were pleasantly surprised.
