Poured from a bottle this beers pours a medium copper hue with a big head that hangs around for a while and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is very pleasant and consists of a bouquet of different fruits, you get some tropicals, some berry, some citrus all sorts of things goin on. These are all characteristics of the Mosaic hops. Mosaic hops is one of those hops that gives you the impression there is more than one hop in the beer. Taste is similar to the nose with alot of different flavors coming theough. It's a bit fruity, earthy, floral, a little spicey and definitely on the dry side with a bitter finish. There is also an ever so slight sour. Given the landscape of IPA's lately this beer is a welcomed change of pace. I know we enjoyed it.
