This beer pours a medium amber hue with a solid head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is a bit of malt and a bit of fruity hops, pretty nice but nothing extraordinary, as for the taste the bitter comes on pretty quickly and reamains through the finish, maybe this is a characteristic of this strand of hops which is pretty new according to the description. There are some nice tropical and citrus notes that come through but the high alcohol content battles those flavors rather than dancing with them. Don't get me wrong this beer drinks pretty decent for a 10 % ABV, you will know the alchol is present but by the time the glass is half empty you won't care. This brew will definitely grow on you as you drink it so give it a chance.
