Pours a medium amber with a medium head that leaves really nice lacing as it dissipates. As for the aroma its a big aroma full of hops , piney, fruity , citrusy hops and a bit malty. The taste is very nice also , it follows the nose pretty closely a nice hop profile fruity , piney a bit citrusy and although the nose makes you think it might be sweeter but it's well balanced. It has a nice smooth mouthfeel and ends with the proper bitter. I had high hopes for this brew due to the nostalgia surrounding it and also because it was brewed close to home many moons ago. This IPA didn't disappoint and it might even rival some of my favorites.
